Born and raised in Norwich, Mark's local knowledge is unparalleled. He has worked as an agent in Norwich for over 20 years, building an exceptional reputation for himself with his professional, tenacious and friendly approach to his job.
Working his way from a trainee to area manager in one of the country's largest estate agency groups, Mark has worked through all kinds of markets, good and bad and therefore has a huge amount of experience and knowledge in valuing and selling property in all market conditions whilst upholding excellent standards of personal customer service.
He lives in Eaton with his young family who attend the local school and nursery and as such has a wealth of knowledge about the local south west Norwich area.
In Mark's spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, socialising and eating out.
Darren moved to Norfolk in 1991 when he was stationed at RAF Coltishall. After leaving the Airforce in 1997 Darren settled in Norwich as he had developed a deep affinity with the city.
Darren joined one of the country's largest corporate estate agents soon after and quickly established himself as one of the most accomplished agents in the region. After a successful spell running a local market town office Darren was promoted to the position of Branch Manager of the flagship Norwich office. After several years of unparalleled success Darren was promoted to the role of Area Manager, with responsibility for many branches throughout south Norfolk and North Suffolk.
Having worked through various different market conditions and with the widest range of properties Darren has an unrivalled amount of experience in dealing with all types of buyers and sellers. In partnership with Mark, he decided to form Claxtonbird residential as he believes that with his knowledge he can provide an outstanding moving experience to everyone and aims to deliver a level of customer service that will make you glad you chose Claxtonbird residential.
When he's not working Darren enjoys relaxing with his partner Julie at their home in Norwich as well as taking part in a wide range of sports.
Julie brings to the team over 30 years experience in estate agency. Born in North Norfolk she started her estate agency career in North Walsham but soon moved into Norwich city centre where she has worked for two of the largest corporate agents in the city before spending 16 years at an independent estate agency.
Julie has extensive knowledge of the local area that we specialise in and lived in the city for over 25 years before recently moving out to Stoke Holy Cross.
Outside of work she enjoys taking long walks in the countryside with her cockapoo Trevor as well as spending time with her family and meeting friends for dinner at one of Norwich's many fine restaurants.
Prior to joining Claxton Bird in 2017, Kim had studied at the College of Law in London before working as an editor at the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting and The Law Society. During that time, she bought and renovated her first house and discovered a passion for property which would ultimately lead to a new career path after moving back home to Norwich with her husband Haakon and two daughters Britt and Josie.
Kim took this opportunity to work with a well-regarded country homes agent to help market and sell high value properties across Norfolk. She then went on to join a large national agency as Head of Marketing & PR for their prestigious homes division, advising on marketing strategies for multi-million pound houses around the country and liaising with the national and regional press to maximise both brand and property exposure. It has been an exciting journey so far during which her love for property has remained steadfast.
When not at work, Kim can be found exploring the north Norfolk coast, visiting art fairs and galleries or travelling with friends and family.
Sherry has joined the team at Claxton Bird with over 15 years experience in estate agency having previously worked for another local independent firm.
Sherry enjoys all aspects of her job from matching clients with properties, to negotiating offers and finally seeing the sale through to exchange and completion - this is something she is passionate about and is keen to help guide buyers and sellers through the sometimes daunting process.
With two children to keep her busy Sherry enjoys spending her free time with her family.
